Many new players wonder: what's the difference between betting before a match starts and betting while it's in progress? The answer is simple — live match betting, or live betting, giving you far more information before making your decision.
Picture this: you're watching a Malaysia Super League match between Selangor FC and Johor DT. At the 30-minute mark, Selangor are trailing 0–1 but clearly dominating in possession and chances created. In this situation, the odds for a Selangor win may be higher than usual — and that's a golden opportunity that only exists in live betting. At Plinko, you can seize that opportunity within seconds.
That's the beauty of live matches — you bet on what you see unfolding, not just pre-match analysis. Your knowledge of the sport becomes a powerful edge. If you're a die-hard badminton fan and know that Lee Zii Jia always comes on strong in the third set, you can put that knowledge to work while the match is live on Plinko.
Plinko offers live betting coverage spanning more than 2,400 matches every week from around the world, including the competitions most popular among Malaysian players:
All matches above are available for live betting at Plinko, with odds refreshing every few seconds to reflect how the match is progressing. A clean, responsive interface means you'll never miss a critical odds movement.

Don't rush into betting from the first minute. For football, watch the opening 15–20 minutes to get a feel for the tempo, possession, and attacking patterns before placing a bet. This is insight you simply can't get before kick-off.
Cash Out is an incredibly useful tool in live betting. If the team you backed is leading but starting to lose momentum, consider cashing out to lock in your winnings before things turn around.
In live betting, odds move fast. Sometimes a minor in-match event can cause odds to "overreact" — a yellow card on a key player, for instance. Quick players can lock in high odds before they correct themselves.
The excitement of live betting can sometimes lead to overbetting. Set a maximum stake for each match and stick to it. At Plinko, you can set a daily deposit limit in your account settings for better control.
All your betting activity, personal information, and financial records on Plinko protected with 256-bit SSL encryption technology. We comply with international data protection standards and will never share your information with third parties without your consent.
To ensure a safe and responsible experience, Plinko provides self-control tools such as deposit limits, betting limits, and self-exclusion options. Access these tools through your account settings.
